It was a full gut and reno of a 1 bed, 1 bath, kitchen, floors, etc. Barry was great at communicating, coming up with solutions, and attending to every detail (I’m quite picky!) We engaged BC 11 for a total renovation of our one bedroom condominium in Manhattan. The work was completed this week and we wanted to share what a fantastic experience it was working with Barry Hefetz and his team of subcontractors. The unit had not been renovated since the 80s prior to this, so the work included completely remodeling the kitchen and bathroom, redoing the floors, and removing the popcorn finish on the ceilings, among other things. Barry's professionalism, communication skills and attention detail were consistent and the best I have ever experienced working with a contractor. He is well-versed in the various requirements of completing renovation work in the NYC regulatory environment (e.g., obtaining various building approvals, ensuring the plans are up-to-code, securing the necessary permits, etc.), which helped to expedite the process and keep us feeling comfortable. Barry was also very receptive to ideas we brought to the table and worked them into the project with ease, providing valuable feedback and tips from his experience throughout.
